Stabilization of Turbulence with Block Matching Algorithm
[2004-08] The original images are distorted by atmospheric turbulence. The corrected images are generated using a modified block matching algorithm (BMA). The computational intensity of the BMA has been reduced by applying restrictions to the search neighborhood and an overlapping reference is used to correct the distorted images.
